Initially I was going to paint the walls of the store in Tiffany Blue, but as I was scrolling through Google Images of English Drawing Rooms, I can across one done in a rich green, and I fell in love with it. It's too soon to really get the feel of it because it still mostly empty, but it feels right already.
One of the things I liked best about the color is how both oak and mahogany furniture really stands out. And although I don't have any paintings hung yet, I'm sure gilt wood frames will pop as well. Overall I'm very happy with the look, even at this early stage.
